Wrinkle Reduction Reduce wrinkles and look years younger. There are over 50 muscles in your face and we use them to create different facial expressions. Over time wrinkles form as collagen breaks down in these areas. One way to reduce wrinkles and stop this collagen break-down is to inject either Botox or Dysport.

Wrinkle reduction takes years away from your face. The use of either Botox or Dysport will diminish wrinkles in the brow, forehead and around the eyes (crow’s feet). It can also be safely used in other areas of the face depending on a patient’s unique facial movements.

Botox/Dysport is injected into the muscles identified as responsible for the wrinkles in question and is used in very small quantities. When injected they will relax the muscles resulting in improved appearance of your wrinkles. A temporary paralysis occurs to keep lines from forming and allowing new collagen to build.

Results from Botox generally take 7-14 days to be fully seen while Dysport takes 3-5 days. You will see your skin smoothing and wrinkles reducing and improvements can occur for up to a month. Overtime our body breaks down the Botox or Dysport so to maintain wrinkle reduction you will need to repeat the procedure every 4-6 months initially. If you keep up with the injections and do not allow the wrinkles to fully return Botox/Dysport can begin to last longer.

Forehead wrinkles

Brow for a mild non-surgical brow lift
