Hand Rejuvenation Keep people guessing about your age by having a hand enhancement. As we age, we lose fat in our hands so our veins and tendons become more prominent. Dermal fillers are used to plump up the hands to give them a more youthful appearance.

Dr. Klainer will inject one of the advanced dermal fillers into the skin and subcutaneous tissue to take years off your hands. If you also have age spots, a laser treatment or chemical peel may be recommended. The combination of treatments for a hand enhancement will have you saying good bye to protruding veins and age spots and hello to more youthful appearing hands.

There are a number of different fillers that can be used for a hand enhancement. Restylane and Juvederm are the more well- known fillers on the market. Radiesse is also a filler that has a longer effect. Dr. Klainer will determine which dermal filler is best for you to achieve your desired result.

Hand Rejuvenation The procedure for a hand enhancement involves injecting dermal filler into and under the skin of the top of the hand and then massaging into place. A topical numbing cream is used prior to injecting to reduce pain caused by the injections. In addition Lidocaine is now mixed into the filler. You may feel the first few injections but after that you should experience minimal discomfort.

After the procedure, ice is recommended to reduce swelling. If you bruise easily, you may want to take Arnica prior to and after receiving the fillers.
